Lesson Policies
Effective November 1st, 2022
These policies are given to every student and or the parent/guardian thereof at the beginning of studies with Glenn Staller (thereafter Instructor).
Payment for services is a flat monthly rate of $180 for 30 minute lessons and $360 for hour lessons. Tuition is due the last lesson of the month for the following month. Tuition not received by the 5th of the month will incur a late fee of $20. Accepted forms of payment are cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal. No refunds or credits will be issued
Calendar for the studio is structured based on the Pleasanton Unified School District calendar for the months of August through May. The months of June and July will be considered as “summer” and classes will be held as regularly scheduled. Months with a 5 week lesson will compensate for months where Instructor is not teaching due to school vacations and specific holidays. Lessons are not given on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
Make-Up lessons for sessions missed, whatever the reason, will be made according to Instructor’s availability to do so and require at least 48 hours prior notification. Each student is allowed 2 make-up classes during the school year and must be rescheduled within a week. Make ups will not be scheduled for same day cancellations, exceptions for severe illness or injury. Missed classes will not be rescheduled. This includes rescheduled lessons.
Summer months are June and July. Lessons continue during these months and may be paid as taken due to the high volume of summer program participation and varied vacation schedules. The summer paid per lesson fee will be $50 per lesson. However, if you wish to continue regular weekly classes, the flat rate tuition will remain $180 per month. Students wanting to reserve (hold) a specific lesson time may do so. Full flat rate payment for your returning month must be received the last lesson prior to your break. Maximum time permitted to reserve a specific lesson time is one month. Longer durations may incur a fee.
Agreement This agreement can be canceled by either party with two weeks notice. Without such notice, students are responsible for the amount of the two lessons’ tuition as a termination fee. If Instructor terminates the lessons, tuition will be prorated up to the last lesson taken.
